Ballas, an angel is gone
One of the best of his generation in terms of Krump passed away a few months ago. Kevin M’pumbu aka“Ballas” was a pro in krump but he also had other passions. He was loved by everyone, especially his family and the members of his crew the X2Buck.

Kevin M’pumbu who was one of the best of his generation is gone. His early demise left a total void in his crew, the x2buck and his family. All fans of krump will always remember his ferocious steps and fervor in battle.
Ballas had Krump in his blood, and was a full member of X2buck, a crew that saw him grow. He was also at the side of the best of the French Krump. We find in this band, Jamsynoise or Wolf who are great french dancers.
The king of versatility
It is true that Ballas was a true dancer and a born krump dancer, but he was not only that. He was also a director, videographer and actor. In 2019, he starred in Buck , a film by director Anne Cissé.
In this film, Ballas was able to combine his nascent passion for acting with dancing. Indeed Buck is a short film about Krump, where dance and love story are mixed.
Ballas was so versatile that he even taught at the prestigious LaxStudio in Los Angeles. Needless to say, Ballas was a true curious and a pioneer of Krump in France and his talent was recognized internationally.

As you can imagine, his disappearance caused a shock in the world of krump. Tributes were flourishing all over social networks in honor of Ballas.
Many events have even been created in his honor, and thus mark the fact that his absence has left a void in the hearts of those who loved him. His crew, the x2buck, even paid tribute to him on June 23rd. It is clear that Balla’s absence is felt, but his memory will never be forgotten.
